How to find my BigCommerce support pin

Support PIN is one of the most important aspects of your BigCommerce store and you will need this PIN at various stages which include, de-activating the store, creating a case and lots more. Also, it acts as an identification number in case you decide to get in touch with the BigCommerce client services team.

Each store has a unique support PIN number and also behaves as a verification and identification number with the BigCommerce teams. Only business owners will have the ability to find / view / generate / ask for their Support PIN numbers


Here’s how you can find your support PIN for your BigCommerce store:

  • By Email
  • By calling the BigCommerce client services team
  • By accessing your legacy client BigCommerce Dashboard
  • By accessing your control panel

By Email:

As soon as you create your BigCommerce store, the BigCommerce team sends an automated email with your Login credentials which includes your username and store URL. In this email, you will also find your Support PIN Number

By Calling the BigCommerce Client Services Team:

You can also call the BigCommerce client services team at all times to find out your Support PIN Number. They will ask you a few questions for verification which may include, name, contact details, debit / credit card numbers etc and once verified, they will give you your Support PIN numbers.

By accessing your legacy client BigCommerce dashboard:

If you’re BigCommerce store is still on the legacy client BigCommerce dashboard, all you need to do is login to your store’s billing area and it will appear on the top right hand side of the page

By accessing your control panel:

  • Login to your BigCommerce store
  • Go to your control panel / admin panel on the left hand side
  • You will locate your Support PIN number right at the bottom of the page on the left hand side
