You have the option of showing or removing the “Powered by Shopify” text at the footer of your website. Please follow any of these steps, which looks easier to you, to remove the “Powered by Shopify” text from the footer of your website.

- Go to the Shopify Admin page and then click on “Online Stores” and then click on the “Themes”
- Select the theme that you are using for your website, then click on “Actions” and then click on “Edit Language”
- In the Filter translations box, type “powered”.
- In the Powered by Shopify box, type a single “space”.
This action will make sure that the faded placeholder text is no longer visible. If your store is password protected, you can repeat these steps for the “Powered by Shopify” HTML box. This will remove the “Powered by Shopify” text from the “Opening soon” page.
After you made the above mentioned changes, please remember to click on “Save”.

- Go to the Shopify Admin page and then click on “Online Stores” and then click on the “Themes”
- Select the theme that you are using for your website, then click on “Actions” and then click on “Edit Code”
- Once you are in the “Sections Folder” open the “Footer. Liquid” file
- Use ctrl + F keys on Windows PC or command + F keys on a Mac and search for {{ powered_by_link }}.
- When you find the text on the page, please delete the same
- After deleting the {{ powered_by_link }}, please click on “Save”
