You can just follow the below mentioned steps and your Shopify website is ready :
- Sign up with Shopify:
Go to Shopify.com, click the Get started button, fill the details, click Create your store button. Give a unique name to your store, fill in the other details like your name, address, country, and contact number. Then click I’m done
- Set your online shop:
You will get your store admin page after signing up. You can then change the look of your store, set up payments, shipping, and upload products.
- Select a Theme:
Shopify has its own official theme store, so you can browse themes from the Theme store. There are variations of themes, the free ones comes with less modification options compared to the premium ones, which does not mean that the free themes will not give you a great looking site, a good selection have been made for free ones also.
- Edit Shopify settings:
You can change the look of the store as per your requirement, as most of the themes allow you to make some changes. From your Shopify admin, click Themes, then you will find two buttons in the top right hand corner. The first button with three dots “…” will help you to make basic setting changes. The second button, which is the Customize Theme button, will direct you to a page that will control all the basic functionality of your store.
- Add Product to the store:
From the Shopify admin, click on Products, and then click Add a product. You can then add as much details as required about your products and its variations. You can upload the pictures of your product.
- Get the online store LIVE:
Before making the store LIVE, plan well for the inventory, delivery, taxes, shipping, and order system.
- Get Domain Name:
You’ll need to have a Domain Name before making the site LIVE. You can buy a Domain from Shopify or purchase it from a third party.
You can complete the above steps in less than an hour and get LIVE on Shopify. Building a website in Shopify does not take much time, so you get enough time to focus on other things.
